Holiday planners have reason to cheer as Andhra Pradesh Tourism has announced 25 new packages covering all the five tourist hubs in the State.
The five tourist hubs include Visakhapatnam, Konaseema – Rajahmundry - Kakinada, Amaravati - Vijayawada, Tirupati - Nellore and Ananthapuramu – Kurnool- Kadapa. All the tour packages are already in effect.
The Visakhapatnam hub covers Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakapatnam districts, has announced four packages - Visakhapatnam – Araku - Anantagiri (three nights /four days), Visakhapatnam – Araku – Arasavalli (three nights / four days ), Visakhapatnam – Borra Caves – Machkund-Jeypore – Jagadalpur (three nights\four days) and Visakhapatnam – Jagadalpur – Konark Puri – Chilika lake (four nights/five days).
The second hub includes Rajahmundry – Maredumalli, an eco-tour package, Kakinada – Samarlakota – Annavaram, Kakinada- Maredumalli and Rajahmundry – Maredumalli – Papikondalu.
Amaravati hub covers the districts of Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam, has announced a single day package – the Amaravati Capital tour package.
The fourth hub has seven tour packages – A heritage-eco-pilgrimage tour to Bengaluru, Lepakshi, Penukonda and Horsley Hills, a pilgrimage and heritage tour to Bengaluru – Puttarparthi - Lepakshi, etc. Encompassing the districts of Nellore and Chittoor, it has announced nine packages. .
