A nurse’s mobile phone was snatched on Thursday by two motorcycle-borne men, who drove against the traffic after committing the crime.

The incident took place on ITO flyover, barely a kilometre from the Delhi Police Headquarters. The victim has been identified as Nishi Prabha, a nurse at LNJP Hospital. “I did not see the snatchers, but they drove off on the wrong side of the road after the snatching. This is ironic given how active the traffic police are against violators,” said Ms. Prabha.

A case has been registered.
