Sergio Garcia hit a hole-in-one on the eleventh at the BMW International Open

Sergio Garcia fired the 25th hole-in-one of the European Tour season with a perfect strike at the 11th on day two of the BMW International Open in Germany.

Richie Ramsay earned himself a luxury car from the tournament sponsors when he aced the 16th on Thursday, and Garcia emulated the feat to win himself a seven-night stay at any Hilton Hotel worldwide while also earning 25 lucky fans one million reward points to cash in with the hotel chain.

Garcia hit a crisp eight-iron at the 158-yard 11th, and his ball pitched a few inches short of the flag before hopping into the cup on the second bounce.

"I hit a really nice eight iron, straight at the pin and it looked really good in the air but you never know," said Garcia, who had enjoyed a hot start to his second round when he birdied four of the first five holes.

"It pitched about four inches short of the hole and second bounce in it went. It was really good. I'll enjoy my stay at the Hilton somewhere and it's nice for the fans to also get some of those points so I hope they enjoy it."
