The Bachelorette's Jordan Rodgers on his relationship with brother Aaron Rodgers: 'It's complicated'

Well, folks, Jordan Rodgers dropped a real bombshell on us this week. On Katie’s Nolan’s Garbage Time Podcast, Nolan asked The Bachelorette contestant (whose performance on the show I have been grading week by week and am thoroughly invested in) whether he and his brother Aaron are close. His answer? “It’s complicated.”

For those of you who don’t know, Jordan Rodgers’ relationship with his brother Aaron is of interest because Aaron Rodgers is the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers. And lots of people — not just people who watch over-produced reality television — care about Aaron Rodgers.

So anyway, Nolan asks, “How close would you say you are with Aaron?”

“Um, I, you know, we have, we have a relationship,” Jordan stutters. “We, you know, it’s, ah, it’s, ah … it’s complicated. I’ll say that.”

“Are you a Packers fan?” Nolan asks.

“Yeah,” Jordan lights up. “So, one of my best friends in the world, David Bakhtiari, is his left tackle.”

Not, “Yeah, my brother is their quarterback,” but “Yeah, my best friend is their left tackle.”

But I’m not going to speculate until someone who actually knows the truth tells me what’s going on in the House of Rodgers. Or doesn’t. Because frankly, it’s really none of my business.

Other things we learned about Jordan thanks to this podcast:

  • He watches The Vampire Diaries.
  • He doesn’t think hot dogs are sandwiches, which is obviously the right answer.
  • He and Robby became very good friends.
  • He actually hated Chad.
  • He thought the show was pretty weird, too.
  • He owns a nutrition business or something, I don’t know, the minute he said “Crossfit,” I completely zoned out.
  • He probably doesn’t win, because he probably wouldn’t hem and haw when asked if he believes it’s possible to really find true love on reality television if he had and was currently engaged to JoJo Fletcher.
  • His favorite superhero is Batman.
