The United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union on Thursday by a 52-48 margin. The stunning decision sent shockwaves around the world and those in the UK and beyond are beginning to look at what the overall effects of this decision will be.

Rory McIlroy, a Northern Ireland native, is among those that are not pleased with the decision of the UK to leave the EU. McIlroy took to Twitter to note his frustration, and ask for a "mulligan" on 2016 due to the decision and the upcoming U.S. election.

McIlroy has never been shy about speaking his mind on political matters, as he's made his feelings on the U.S. election, and even more specifically Donald Trump, known on multiple occasions. So it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that he would voice his displeasure with the UK's decision.
