Sabre Corp has agreed a partnership to integrate Umapped’s itinerary management solution into the GDS and ClientBase.
The Umapped platform offers a white label version for travel agencies, OTA’s and other travel and hospitality firms to aggregate trip details and related content into a centralized platform for clients to access.
The system lets users build out itineraries and share and discover new travel experiences.
All updates made by agents via Sabre are automatically changed in the Umapped app, which notifies travelers of changes in real time.
"We are proud that an industry leader like Sabre has partnered with us and we look forward to continuing our collaborations on new initiatives and innovations that propel both companies," said Lisa Israelovitch, Umapped’s CEO.
The Umapped messenger function also allows real time communication between agent and client via the app, email or SMS.
Sabre says 30 agencies have already started using the system and the platform will be featured at the 2016 Sabre Travel Technology Exchange later this month.
