LK Advani pitches for opening of Kailash Mansarvovar yatra to China through Ladakh

Srinagar, Jun 24 (UNI) Pitching for opening of Kailash-Mansarovar yatra route from Ladakh, former deputy prime minister and Member of Parliament L K Advani said China should accept the appeal of India to open the road so that yatris don't have to go via Nepal.
"China should accept the appeal of India to open Kailash-Mansarvovar Road through Ladakh so that yatris don't have to take longer route via Nepal,” Mr Advani said at the inauguration of annual Sindhu Darshan festival also known as Shinghey Khababs, in the local Ladakhi parlance.
The 20th annual Sindhu Darshan Mela commenced yesterday evening with the inauguration of Sindhu Bhawan at Choglamsar Leh by Mr Advani, a senior BJP leader.
