Rape accused weds victim on coming out of jail

Betul, MP, Jun 24 (UNI) A man, who had eloped with a teenage girl last year and booked on rape charges, has married the victim on coming out from jail on bail in Madhya Pradesh’s Betul district, police said.
The victim had eloped with her lover Chunky last year. Her parents had lodged a rape case against Chunky in Kotwali Police Station. Both got were caught by police in Vidisha. Chunky was sent to jail three months back while the girl was sent to an orphanage one month later. She was 17 years and 10 months old when she was brought to the orphanage.
When the girl turned 18 on June 17, her family members disowned her. Meanwhile, Chunky came to the orphanage on being released on bail. Both married yesterday with the consent of the youth’s parents.
