Indore : Police on Thursday have solved the murder mystery of a youth in Rau and arrested his wife and paramour for killing him. The accused identified as Pooja Bhandari, wife of the deceased, and Karam Singh had plotted the murder.
During investigations, a special team led by Rau police station in-charge Vijay Sisodia found that Yashpal had been speaking to his friends about a relative visiting him on the day of the murder.

Following the tip-offs, the police tracked down Yashpal's family in Uttarakhand, who informed that he was married to one Pooja alias Anjali alias Pujju Bhandari, who stayed in Dehradun. Yashpal was not having cordial marriage with Pooja, following which investigation focused on the wife.
The probe team got a clue that one Karam alias Karan Singh, Dehradun resident and currently staying in Kota (Rajasthan), was expected to visit Yashpal on the night of murder. "Investigations revealed that Karam Singh, a carpenter, was not in Kota on the night of murder," Sisodia told reporters. The police team nabbed Karam Singh, who confessed having killed Yashpal with his friends.
Karam Singh had known Pooja for last three years and had developed illicit relationship with her. Yashpal, an employee of a pharmaceutical company in Indore, had decided to shift to Dehradun. "Pooja and Karam Singh conspired to kill Yashpal over the move," Sisodia said.
On the night of murder, Karam Singh and his friends reached Indore by train and had food with Yashpal at his room. They then strangulated Yashpal, took his mobile phone and left the house.
