M S University students win laurels at international conference

Vadodara: Three students of M S University's Polytechnic College bagged first position in a paper presentation contest of an international conference held in Bangkok.
The conference was held on multi-disciplinary research approach to accomplish excellence in higher and technical education through industrial practices.
Dhruv Patel, Prince Pambhar and Pujan Jani had presented the paper on 'Air Bearing- A solution over the limitations of mechanical bearings in industrial applications.' Patel and Pambhar have completed diploma in mechanical engineering this year while Jani is a final year student of mechanical engineering.
The conference was hosted by Gujarat chapter of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). Nearly 60 papers were presented by students and teaching faculties from various parts of the world. "We are in the process of signing an MoU with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand for short-term courses in mechanical engineering," said Kalpesh Bhavsar, chairman of ISTE's Gujarat chapter.
