QATAR University College of Sharia and Islamic Studies (QU-CSIS) honoured 123 students with GPA 3.5 and higher on its Dean's List for Fall 2015 at a ceremony attended by CSIS Dean Dr Yousuf al Siddiqi, faculty and students.
Ninety-five female and 28 male students received certificates from Dr Siddiqui.
In his congratulatory remarks, Dr Siddiqui said,"Student academic success is integral to the College's development and progress and its advancement as a model for other colleges in the region."
He encouraged the students to keep up their level of outstanding scholarship which will add value to their future career prospects.
Outstanding student Faseeh Ulzamman with GPA 3.79 spoke on behalf of the honourees about the rewards of hard work and persistence to better themselves and contribute to the betterment of the society and the country.
"Congratulations to all of you for achieving such outstanding academic heights," he said.
