First cut-off list for PG courses out
Bhopal: Sarojini Naidu Girls PG College (Nutan College) witnessed 82.47% cut-off in the first list of allotted seats in post-graduation courses for chemistry. It is the highest cut-off at any college in the state capital. Higher education department released the list on Thursday.
According to the data provided by the higher education department, commerce and mathematics were other subjects that witnessed high cut-off.
In these subjects, the first list closed at 75.57% and 75.17%, respectively.
Motilal Vigyan Mahavidyalaya (MVM) recorded a low cut-off. In chemistry, first list was closed at 70%, while highest cut-off was in biotechnology where the list was closed at 73%.
In the first list, lowest cut-off was registered in history subject. In Hamidia College, subjects below 50% cut-off were sociology, economics, English and Sanskrit.
Last date to take admission for the students allotted seats in the first round will be June 27. Students can take admission from June 25.
This year higher education department has dropped the college level counselling. In another initiative, online fee payment has been launched from this year.
