Pratyush Maini of DAV School, Sector 14, has ranked second in all-India IIT-JEE (Main) merit list, results of which were announced on Thursday.
Gurgaon: Pratyush Maini of DAV School, Sector 14, has ranked second in all-India IIT-JEE (Main) merit list, results of which were announced on Thursday.
One of Gurgaon's toppers in CBSE Class XII boards, Maini ranked 217 in IIT-JEE (Advanced), results of which were declared on June 12.
The Park View City I resident said, "I want to pursue electrical engineering as I love physics and mathematics.I want to join IIT-Delhi or Mumbai." His teachers are sure he will make it. "Even though the mains result is of no use for IITs, I'm happy he has made it to the second rank. He is dedicated," said Ajay Tripathi, Maini's mentor at FIIT-JEE Gurgaon.
