13 injured in two road mishaps

JAMMU, June 23: Thirteen people were injured today in two separate road mishaps in outskirts of this winter capital of the State.
According to a police spokesman, ten persons were injured when a bus bearing registration number JK02AC-2195 carrying them skidded-off the road and fell into a 10 feet gorge near Kandoli Mata Mandir in Nagrota area. He said that mishap occurred this morning about 8.30 am when the ill fated bus was on its way from Jammu to Udhampur.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where the condition of all of them were normal. The injured have been identified as Nanka Devi (50) wife of Pyar Singh of Reasi, Rani Devi (45) wife of Chirwah of Reasi, Ram Lal (52) son of Prem Chand of Akhnoor, Preetam Lal (45) son of Bula Ram of Bhor Camp (Jammu), Khursheed Khan (38) son of Ghulam Hussain of Poonch, Roshan Din (42) son of Ahada of Reasi, Vishal Manhas (24) son of Devinder Singh of Toph Sherkhania (Jammu), Sanjeevan Kumar (22) son of Falel Singh of Doda, Dharminder Singh (17) son of Jagdish Singh of Doda and Gulshama Begum (40).
Meanwhile, three persons were injured this evening at Sidhra when the car bearing registration number in which they were travelling rammed into a stationary tractor trolley loaded with sand at Sidhra area of city outskirts. The injured identified as Mohit Sangram (20) son of Baldev Sangram of Chak, Sarvajan Singh (20) son of Hardeep Singh of Gho Manhasa and Sahil Digra (20) son of Sardari Lal of Gole Gujral, were shifted to GMCH for treatment. The condition of all three injured youth was stated to be stable till the last reports came in.
In both cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
