Kamakshi case: Eoc opposes Raikar bail

Colva: The Economic offence cell (EOC) on Wednesday opposed the bail application filed by Nilesh Raikar proprietor of Kamashi Forex Pvt Ltd before a local court.
At the same time, five investors filed an intervening applications Arguments on the application will be heard on Thursday during the evening session of the court.
Police in the reply, admitted that the accused had hatched a criminal conspiracy and collected deposits in the form of foreign and Indian currency at Kamakshi Forex in the form of deposits/investments ranging for a period of one month to five years over the promise of high monetary returns.He cheated more the 570 investors/depositors for a total maturity amount of 55.74 crores.
The accused was arrested on April 22 and since then he has been in custody. The police said that they needed the accused in custody to find the hidden bank accounts . TNN
