Juvenile justice fund set up

CHANDIGARH: Women and Child Development Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi said the state government was committed to effectively implementing the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015.



Chandigarh, June 23

Women and Child Development Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi said the state government was committed to effectively implementing the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015. Bedi was here to attend a state-level orientation programme organised for the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015.

The minister said the government had introduced a number of schemes for the protection of children. He said a juvenile justice fund and a state advisory board had been constituted to implement the Act. —TNS
