3 IPS officers shifted to UP

Lucknow,Jun 23(UNI) Uttar Pradesh government today shifted three IPS officers which included posting of director general (DG) rank IPS officer in the Prison Department.
According to an official communiqué of the Home Department here, DG Security Gopal Gupta will now head the prison department as DG (Prisons). He will replace ADG Dr Devendra Singh Chauhan who will now join as ADG (Crime Branch Crime Investigation Department) in place of Sanjay M Tarde, who goes as Police Training School (PTS) in Gorakhpur.
Tarde will assume new charge after present DG (PTS) in Gorakhpur Vijay Singh retires on June 30 later this month.
