West Ham remain in negotiations with Besiktas over a deal for winger Gokhan Tore, according to Sky sources, despite having a loan bid rejected.

It is understood the Hammers were keen to secure the 24-year-old on a season-long deal with a view to a permanent move next summer.

However, Besiktas have turned down the bid and told West Ham they will only entertain offers that will see Tore leave the club on a permanent basis.
