Director Shekhar Kapur took to Twitter to express how proud he feels to see little writer-composer daughter Kaveri. All of just 15 years old, Kaveri writes, composes and sings her own songs, which moves him to tears of joy.

Li’l Kaveri will soon launch hew new single ‘Did You Know’. Shekhar shared a sneak peek of Kaveri’s music video on Twitter, saying: My little baby needs your blessings. At 15 she writes composes sings her own songs. Moves me to tears of joy everytime.

Shekhar and singer-actress wife Suchitra Krishnamoorthi’s daughter Kaveri started her musical training in Hindustani classical music at the age of six, and then trained in Western classical vocals, piano and guitar. She recorded her first single at 12.
