After ADGP transfers, 19 SPs get new postings

After a major shuffle at the level of ADGPs and IGs, the state government shuffled another 19 officers at the level of SPs. The transfer orders were then issued to them on Wednesday.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: After a major shuffle at the level of ADGPs and IGs, the state government shuffled another 19 officers at the level of SPs. The transfer orders were then issued to them on Wednesday.
The government appointed P Prakash, who was removed as city police commissioner of Kollam after the Puttingal mishap, as principal of police training college, Thiruvananthapuram.

Jacob Job, who was suspended from service for leaking the telephonic conversation with the then DGP M N Krishnamoorthy during the probe in the Chandrabose murder case, has been appointed as SP in the crime branch. V Gopalakrishnan, who was serving as SP at the police training college, has been appointed at the police headquarters as additional AIG.
Rahul R Nair, who sparked a controversy by accepting a bribe, has been appointed at the police headquarters as AIG. In place of Rahul Nair, P A Valsan has been appointed as commandant of the Malabar Special Police.
Kaliraj Mahesh Kumar, who was serving as AIG at police headquarters has been appointed as SP, headquarters, while T Narayanan who was removed as SP, Pathanamthitta and who was awaiting a new posting, has been appointed as SP, vigilance and anti-corruption bureau.
P Ashok Kumar is the new AIG for public grievances at PHQ while Pushkaran NK has been posted at SB-CID, Thrissur. K G Simon is the new crime branch SP at Kottayam. K V Joseph has been appointed as the assistant director of Kerala Police Academy. Rajpal Meena is the internal security SP while Mohammed Shabeer has been posted as SP, NRI cell. Jolly Cheriyan is the crime branch SP for Thiruvananthapuram range.
