Unicode has also released emojis that support lesser known languages, intending to represent diverse cultures. These include Osage, a Native American language; Fulani, an African language, and the language of the ancient Chinese Tangut nation.

Although the emojis were officially released in mid-2016, gadget owners wouldn’t necessarily see them in their emoji packs as they would need to wait for new operating systems such as Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android for the incorporation. (jam/kes)
