In a shocking case, a eleventh standard student was beaten, stabbed and assaulted at a bus stand at Hassan in Karnataka for staring at a woman while onlookers recorded the entire ordeal on their mobile phones. A couple of police men were also part of the crowd.
The man Dhanush was allegedly caught staring at a woman by two men who started abusing him verbally. Dhanush called his brother and friends for help. However, a fight broke out between the two groups.

Two people who were stabbed have been admitted, and a case was registered against five of them.
