Panaji: The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at its recently-concluded 5
th All India Hindu Adhiveshan at Ponda resolved to campaign to address issues plaguing society.
Addressing a press conference along with senior HJS functionaries, Ramesh Shinde, national convener, on Wednesday said that they have adopted eight resolutions, prominent among them being the exploration of all legal options to declare India a Hindu rashtra.
It also resolved to extend complete support to Hindus from Nepal fighting for a Hindu rashtra as well.
Its other resolutions are that the central government should bring a nationwide ban on cow slaughter and ensure its stringent implementation, demand an investigation into atrocities on Hindus in Sri Lanka and Bangaladesh. Since the Bangladesh government has failed to protect Hindus there, the Hindus should be allowed to have a separate homeland in Bangladesh.
