Islamic varsity VC meets Guv

SRINAGAR: Islamic University of Sciences and Technology Vice Chancellor Mushtaq A Siddiqi met Governor NN Vohra here today.

Islamic University of Sciences and Technology Vice Chancellor Mushtaq A Siddiqi met Governor NN Vohra here today.

He told the Governor about the ongoing academic programmes and his plans to enhance institution’s standing in coming times. Vohra advised him to take all required steps for making the University a centre of excellence.

State Legislative Council member Surinder Ambardar also called on the Governor here today. He discussed with him several matters relating to timely implementation of rehabilitation, resettlement and welfare schemes for Kashmiri migrants. He raised issues about the welfare of religious minorities. The Governor urged Ambardar to pursue the efficient implementation of development programmes relating to his area.
