Johnny Manziel says he’s a victim of hit-and-run

Johnny Manziel was the apparent victim of a hit-and-run accident earlier this week.

Senior Cpl. DeMarquis Black of the Dallas police department told the Associated Press that Monday night’s incident left the driver’s side of Manziel’s 2015 Nissan GTR with damages that were captured by TMZ.

Police also confirmed there was a witness present in Manziel’s car, in addition to an impartial witness. Manziel did not sustain serious injuries. His spokeswoman, Denise Michaels, noted that he hit his head, but did not get a concussion.

For those keeping tabs on Manziel’s car troubles, this is the second automobile incident surrounding the NFL flameout in recent months. In April, Manziel was involved in an accident, riding in a rented Mercedes that crashed into a pole on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles. He told police that he was a passenger. The former Brown is reportedly refusing to pay the $90,000 worth of damages to the vehicle’s owner.

Manziel’s white roadster has been through quite a wild ride with its owner. Last October, Manziel was driving the two-door coupe while arguing with then-girlfriend Colleen Crowley in Avon, Ohio. Though he admitted to drinking before the incident, the cops let them go without pressing charged.

Manziel now faces criminal charges after being indicted last month following a separate dispute with Crowley in January.
