After suffering a shock defeat in the first Twenty20 International, India made a strong comeback in the second game by demolishing the hosts by 10 wickets. They were aided by the return of Barinder Sran and Dhawal Kulkarni to the playing XI in place of Jaydev Unadkat and Rishi Dhawan. Sran's four-wicket haul rocked the Zimbabwean batting lineup early in the game and they ended up making only 99. Mandeep Singh scored his first half-century in international cricket in the chase and he is likely to get another game today.

Will Faiz Fazal get a game though? He scored a fifty in the only game he played on the tour but will Dhoni make changes in a series decider? Zimbabwe, on the other hand, will need to get their act together. Their batsmen in particular, need to pull up their socks and bat more responsibly in order to give their bowlers something to bowl at. Richmond Mutumbami missed the last game after getting hit in the hip during the first T20I. He is likely to miss today's match as well which would give Peter Moor another opportunity to impress. This will also be Dhoni's last international appearance for a very long time since India aren't scheduled to play a lot of limited overs cricket over the next few months.

Vusi Sibanda has made his intentions to take the attack to the Indian bowlers clear early on in the innings with three consecutive fours off Dhawal Kulkarni in the third over. Sibanda and Hamilton Masakadza were getting singles easily and maintaining a run rate of over six an over. However, against the run of play, Axar Patel managed to trap Masakadza in front of the stumps.

Graeme Cremer, Zimbabwe skipper, won the toss and elected to field in the third and final T20 International match of the series against India. MS Dhoni, however, didn't seem disappointed with the idea of having to bat first. He said, "We were looking to bat first today. I don't think it will get better in the second innings, so toss is not crucial. The last game was the one where there was variable bounce. We are playing with the same side."

India has come in with an unchanged Playing XI.

Zimbabwe (Playing XI): Chamu Chibhabha, Hamilton Masakadza, Peter Moor(w), Vusi Sibanda, Timycen Maruma, Malcolm Waller, Elton Chigumbura, Graeme Cremer(c), Neville Madziva, Donald Tiripano, Tendai Chatara

India (Playing XI): Lokesh Rahul, Mandeep Singh, Ambati Rayudu, Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav, MS Dhoni(w/c), Axar Patel, Dhawal Kulkarni, Jasprit Bumrah, Barinder Sran, Yuzvendra Chahal

India are off to a slow start on a pitch that has kept low and slow. Lokesh Rahul and Mandeep Singh are biding their time in the middle. It's been quite a dull start so far.

While Lokesh Rahul successfully managed to take the attack to the opposition by smashing 15 runs off five balls in the third over, Mandeep Singh failed to implement the hit over the in-field and paid the price for it with his wicket.

On an outfield that is as slow as one can find at a Test venue, Rahul was well set to pierce gaps and find boundaries. However, after a good start, he inside edged an incoming delivery by Neville Madziva and was dismissed bowled. Manish Pandey who came out to bat, ran himself out off the first delivery. With two wickets in two balls, India have been put on the backfoot.

While Kedar Jadhav and Ambati Rayudu are building a strong partnership to resurrect the Indian innings, Zimbabwe are putting up a brave fight on the field. Their fielding has been top class today and haven't allowed India to score freely. But having said that, there has been an easy dropped catch which has allowed Jadhav to continue batting.

Zimbabwe skipper Graeme Cremer bagged his maiden wicket of the tour as Ambati Rayudu failed to clear the fielder in the deep and holed out to him. A good stand for India came to an end. With a need to accelerate for India, this is a good break for Zimbabwe.

MS Dhoni, who was taking some time to getting used to the pace of the wicket, has eventually played the ball on to the stumps. More importantly, the bail flung on his left eye. Even as he walked back to the pavilion on his own, an injury scare can't be ruled out.

Meanwhile, Kedar Jadhav is having a good time in the middle. He is dropped for the second time in the innings. He has managed to lead India's charge in this innings with a crisp half-century.

Kedar Jadhav finally comes to an end as he holes out Elton Chigumbura in a bid to hit some big shots. But the slow track gets the better of him. Our stats editor Deep Narayanan notes - Lowest total successfully defended by India in T20Is is 146/7 vs BAN in WT20 2016.

Some late blitz helped India post 138 for six in their 20 overs. The pitch is slow, but it is expected to ease out in the second innings. The curious question, however, is can Zimbabwe pace their chase well? Do they have enough firepower in their batting to deal with the second-string Indian bowling attack?

Stay tuned for updates from the second innings.

Yuzvendra Chahal may have dropped a few easy chances, but plucked a blinder to dismiss Chamu Chibhaba today as Zimbabwe have lost their first wicket after a steady start. Barinder Sran, who started out with a maiden over, now has a wicket to his name. This is turning out to be a brilliant tour for the left-arm pacer.

Vusi Sibanda's dismissal has turned the tide of the match in India's favour. Suddenly the wicket that looked easy-paced while Hamilton Masakadza and Sibanda were batting, seems to have gotten slow while Peter Moor and Malcolm Waller are batting.

Elton Chigumbura is at the crease with the tail left to help Zimbabwe get over the line and register a historic T20 International series win. They need less than 12 runs an over off the last three overs.

Jasprit Bumrah and Dhawal Kulkarni have done well to make it 21 runs from the last over for Barinder Sran to defend. India look favourites at the moment, but, meanwhile, MS Dhoni continues to receive treatment to his left eye.

A six, a wide that pitched outside the pitch on the off-side and a boundary off a no-ball. 1 legal delivery and 12 runs conceded had left Zimbabwe needing only nine runs off five deliveries, with a free hit in hand. Barinder Sran seemed nervous and another youngster - Timycen Maruma was confident. The momentum was with Zimbabwe.

However, Sran came back well to bowl two yorkers wide off the off-stumps. No run conceded. A single followed by an outside edge that ran to the boundary left Zimbabwe with four runs needed off the last ball. Elton Chigumbura, Zimbabwe's hero in the first T20I win, failed to clear the fielder at extra cover as the hosts fell short by three runs.

With this win, India sealed the three-match T20I series 2-1.

Zimbabwe may not be the strongest team in the world, but it proved to be a good outing for the youngsters, who delivered at various times on the tour. More importantly, they got a chance to experience playing conditions that aren't quite similar to that of India. In the end, whatever challenge they had in front of them, they managed to overcome that and win both the ODI series as well as the three-match T20I series.
