Seven visually impaired children of Barmer district passed Class X exams with first division.
Jaisalmer: Seven visually impaired children of Barmer district passed Class X exams with first division. Setting an example for other children in the village, Bahia Khan, son of a farmer at Derasar village, passed his Class X boards with flying colours.
Having scored 84.33%, Bahia is the first boy of the village to have scored such high marks. The entire village collected to congratulate him on his feat.

They may not have eyes but education has filled their life with light. The scene at the house of this visually impaired girl Dhapu of Dandali village was a little different. There are over five members in this family who are blind. Despite that Dhapu had all the support of her family members and scored 70.5%.
Mohammad of Lolava, Kamruddin of Sada, Rasal Khan, Jabar Singh and Surendra Kumar of Jaisalmer passed with first division marks. The students appeared in the school at station road in city. Happy with the results, Chainaram Choudhary, principal of Rajkiya Higher Secondary School, Barmer, said these students studied hard and their hard work has given results, making us proud.
