New scheme for Brahmin youth

The Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (APBWC) has introduced Chanakya Swayam Upadhi Scheme for the welfare of the Brahmin youth.

The schemes are categorised as ‘anthyodaya’ with 80 per cent subsidy for Rs.1.50-lakh project cost, ‘abhyudaya’ with 60 per cent subsidy for Rs.1.6 to Rs.3 lakh and ‘abhivrudhi’ with 40 per cent subsidy for Rs. 3.1 lakh to Rs. 10 lakh. All these schemes will be offered online in the website of the APBWC and there will be no intermediary interference, according to Rallapalli Ramasubba Rao, honorary president of the Brahmana Maha Sabha.
