Minister for Forests, Environment and Ecology B. Ramanath Rai said here on Monday that he was not going to hanker for any particular portfolio in the Sate council of ministers and is willing to accept any ministry that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah allocates him.
Mr. Rai told reporters here on Monday that all through his period as a Cabinet Minister he had never lobbied for any particular portfolio. “I have sincerely discharged duties assigned to me by the Chief Minister. I have been sincerely discharging my duties in the present post.”
