Cong leader ignores Capt's command

Bathinda: Mukstar district Congress chief Gurmeet Singh Khuddian has allegedly ignored state Congress head Captain Amarinder Singh's order suspending local leader Gurbaj Singh for indiscipline. Khuddian took Gurbaj, who is the head of the party's Lambi block unit, to press conference on Tuesday despite the suspension order.
He addressed the press conference along with party's MLA from Muktsar Karan Kaur Brar.
Gurbaj was suspended on June 19, for violating the party discipline by getting into a fight with some Congress workers at the sit-in organized at Lambi on June 18. While suspending Gurbaj, Amarinder had stated that no indiscipline would be tolerated in the party. Khuddian said no communication had been received about the party action against the Lambi block head and Muktsar DCC had no knowledge about the suspension orders of Gurbaj.
