BJP holds public meeting at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, June 21: BJP held a public meeting here in which various issues including prevailing developments in the State were discussed.
The meeting was chaired by general secretary, BJP Pawan Khajuria who highlighted various policies and programmes of Modi Government at Centre and PDP-BJP coalition in the State.
Mr Khajuria said Jan Dhan Yojna, Atal Pension Yojna, Mudra Yojna, Swachh Bharat, sanctioning gas connections for poor families etc are public friendly schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to eradicate poverty and make the nation self reliant. He said Union Government has taken all steps to eradicate corruption from public life and there is total accountability for employees now. The work culture has been introduced and many initiatives were taken to boost economy of the country.
Khajuria said in J&K too coalition is treading on a right path as in over one year its rule there is no corruption charge against any Minister as BJP is committed to provide a clean Government. He made a dig at Party detractors who were exploiting the masses for their vested political interests and asked them to be cautious against them.
He said huge economic package of Rs 80,000 crore given to the State by Modi Government is an indication that Centre is committed to bring the State out of present morass.
The meeting among others was addressed by Rakesh Gupta district president BJP, Som Raj, Vikas Kongra, Amit Sharma, Ramesh Sharma, Ramnik Karnail Singh, Pavitar Singh etc.
