Jind ABJASS forms panel to manage donations

JIND: The Jind unit of the Akhil Bharatiya Jat Aarakshan Sanhgarsh Samiti (ABJASS) has constituted an 11-member committee for managing donations collected during the Jat agitation that concluded recently.

The Jind unit of the Akhil Bharatiya Jat Aarakshan Sanhgarsh Samiti (ABJASS) has constituted an 11-member committee for managing donations collected during the Jat agitation that concluded recently. The samiti has collected Rs 9 lakh as donations from various villages of which Rs 7 lakh was spent on the agitation which continued for 15 days at Khatkar village in this district.

Capt Bhupinder Singh (retd), district president, ABJASS, said: “We will open a joint savings account of five samiti members here to deposit the balance amount. The donation will be used for the samiti’s activities in future after due sanction by the committee.”
