Governor congratulates KU for US award

SRINAGAR: Governor NN Vohra, Chancellor of Kashmir University (KU), has congratulated Khurshid Iqbal, Vice-Chancellor, KU, and Manzoor A Shah, senior Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, along with his project team for securing the prestigious US-India 21st Century Knowledge Initiative Award.

Governor NN Vohra, Chancellor of Kashmir University (KU), has congratulated Khurshid Iqbal, Vice-Chancellor, KU, and Manzoor A Shah, senior Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, along with his project team for securing the prestigious US-India 21st Century Knowledge Initiative Award.

The University has been awarded for the project “Proactive management models for the effects of climate change on the range of invasive species”.

Conveying his happiness over the important breakthrough, the Governor has urged the faculty and students to work diligently in making Kashmir University a hub of excellence in learning and research.
