Man creates nuisance on running train

Patna: It was a nightmarish journey for passengers in an AC-III coach of the 12310 Dn Rajdhani Express train that left New Delhi for Patna at 5.15pm on Monday with a drunk male passengers putting off his shirts and misbehaving with one and all, including women.
Though an SOS call to the Railway Board at toll-free number 139 was acknowledged as complaint number 1606202249471, any help whatsoever didn't come.
The ugly drama inside the coach continued till the man was handed over to the GRP at Allahabad by the passengers and TTE.
Eyewitnesses Kumar Anand and Rishabh Kumar recalled hardly had the train crossed Aligarh when the man, identifying self as Jha, started creating nuisance under the influence of liquor. He was insisting on occupying a particular berth on which a woman passenger was sleeping. "He took off his shirt and fought with those who resisted his bid to occupy the berth," Anand told TOI.
Amid much hue and cry, an RPF jawan entered their B2 coach and pacified the drunk passenger. However, the man in uniform got down at Kanpur, saying his jurisdiction and duty ended there.
A group of passengers then virtually overpowered the drunk passenger and made him sit near the toilet. In the wee hours of Tuesday when the train reached Allahabad, he was handed over to the GRP. "If such an ugly incident can happen in Rajdhani Express, at least women passengers are not safe in Indian Railways' trains," Anand said on reaching Patna.
Meanwhile, the Patna GRP feigned ignorance about any such incident as it took place outside the ECR zone.
