Fun-filled Interactive Book Showcased in SIBF 2016

June 15 to 19, the World Trade Center Samseong-dong in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea opened its doors to book enthusiasts from all over the world. Visitors flocked to its halls to participate in the 2016 Seoul International Book Fair. Among the books featured at the event was Jeannie Brendler's book, Baby Ody: A Llama Adventure.

Baby Ody tells the adventure of a llama who's not quite a baby. In fact, Baby Ody is close to two years old. As he grows up, Baby Ody goes through numerous adventures that teach him many things. Through his many llama friends, Baby Ody learns how to keep his teeth healthy, stay warm in the cold, pick the right kinds of food to eat, and so much more.

Brendler includes numerous interesting tidbits about and illustrations of llamas. She encourages readers to join in on Baby Ody's adventures through adding colors to the pictures. Aside from being informative, Baby Ody is an interactive teaching tool to help young readers.

Jeannie Brendler worked as an artist, calligrapher, photographer, and art director in Fairfax County for fifteen years. She was inspired to pursue her artistic passions by her uncle, John Hilt. Her uncle taught her the values of quality and education in leading a successful life. Now retired, she maintains a llama ranch with her husband in the mountains of Southwestern Virginia.
