Ample pre-monsoon, good sowing in 9 districts of HP

Shimla, Jun 21 (UNI) Barring Kullu, Kinnaur and Lahaul Spiti districts there was ample pre monsoon rainfall in the month of June, recording good monsoon sowing in nine districts.
Releasing the figures of pre monsoon rain today, Met Office Department here said Solan districts which was producing tomato, capsicum and other offseason vegetables to feed National Capital Region and other North Indian markets, recorded 223 per cent more rain than normal 63 mm as it got 216.6 mm rainfall between the period.
Una along with Punjab border got 144 per cent more rainfall compared to normal 32.2 mm as it had 78.2 mm rainfall followed by Bilaspur with 111 per cent more rainfall that of 56.8 mm normal and had 118 mm.
