Kamal Haasan's 'Viswaroopam 2' to release on Diwali?

Social media is buzzing with the news that Kamal Haasan's much-awaited 'Viswaroopam 2 ' is scheduled to be released on Diwali this year.Even as there is no official confirmation from the actor or even from the film's producer, Aascar Ravichandran on this development.

According to reports, Kamal Haasan has repeatedly said that he doesn't know why the sequel is yet to hit the screens.At a press conference last year, he had said, 'I don't know why the film is delayed from release. Aascar Ravichandran, the producer, must decide when to release the film. But I am yet to know the correct reason for holding my film back from release.' Kamal Hassan has completed other films ' Uthama Villain, Papanasam and Thoongavanam. He is also directing 'Sabash Naidu' as its director (Rajeev) has been diagnosed with the rare Lyme disease and is hospitalised in Los Angeles.
