Deva Snana Purnima was performed on Monday at Sector-9, Ukkunagaram under the auspices of the Utkalika Cultural Association of Ukkunagaram and Daspalla Hills by Utkal Sankrutika Samaj. Devotees performed the event wearing dhoti as traditional attire at both the places in the precincts of Lord Jagannath temple complexes. Samaj development coordinator J.K. Nayak was present. The deities will be out on July 5 for Netrostav and will proceed on Rath Yatra on July 6.

At Ukkunagaram, the deities and the images of Sudarshana and Madanmohan were ceremonially brought out from the sanctum sanctorum in a procession to the Snana-mandap (bathing pandal).
