International Yoga Day,
Sharat Dhall, President, Yatra.com, said, “Last year, on the occasion of the 1st International Yoga say initiated by our Prime Minister himself,
Yatra.com had come up with special tourism packages to Yoga retreats like Hrishikesh and Kovalam.”
He added, “That was extremely well received by both international and domestic tourists and we observed a 147% hike in our queries and bookings to these places”, adding, “People from around the globe travel to India, the birthplace of Yoga, to seek true relaxation.
India's many yoga retreats offer the perfect balance of soothing surroundings, invigorating classes, and indulgent treatments. We are confident that on the occasion of the 2nd International Yoga day, coming up on June 21, we will see an even greater boost to inbound tourism as India has clearly been established as the home of Yoga tourism.”
