Anil Kapoor's children, Sonam Kapoor and Harshvardhan Kapoor, have been directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and now, their father will team up with the filmmaker. Harshvardhan will make his debut in Bollywood with Rakeysh directorial "Mirziya."

Sonam has worked with the director in two films, "Delhi-6" and "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag." It seems the family is setting a record of working with the same director. "Rakeysh's film is one of three films that Anil has signed this year, apart from 'Mubarakan' and 'Jugalbandi.' With Mehra, there is the trust factor, so Anil said yes," a source told DNA.

"Anil truly believes that Rakeysh is one of the few Indian filmmakers who can spin sensible cinema into a box-office success," the source added. In fact, Anil told the leading daily that he will collaborate with Rakeysh "very soon."

Meanwhile, Anil is busy with the Season 2 of his television series "24" and might star in "Aankhen 2" along with Shahid Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Amitabh Bachchan. He has recently signed "Mubaraka" alongside his nephew Arjun Kapoor. Anil will collaborate with "No Entry" and "Welcome" director Anees Bazmee in this film.

On the other hand, fans are eagerly waiting for Rakeysh's film "Mirziya." The makers had released the teaser and it looked phenomenal. It will introduce new faces as it is the debut film of Harshvardhan and Saiyami Kher. "Mirziya" is a timeless folktale about star-crossed lovers and plays out in two parallel worlds — one real and one fantasy. As the lovers struggle with forces that seek to keep them apart in both worlds, they discover that even a moment of true love is worth an entire lifetime.
