Police stops BJP's Jagriti Yatra in Deoband

Deoband, Jun 20 (UNI) Police had a hard time controlling the BJP activists who brought out a Jagriti yatra in the city today to protest against the exodus of Hindu family from the city in the recent past.
The authorities had already banned and had clamped section 144 in the area but still the BJP leaders brought out the Jagriti yatra and submitted a memoradum addressed to Governor Ram Naik to the authorities.
SDM Bhanu Praap Yadav said that the yatra was not allowed to come out of the Teachers colony this morning and the BJP activists were asked to submit their memorandum and disperse.
