Marriage is a contract, says Diya Aur Bati Hum actor Anas Rashid

Anas Rashid is a busy man playing the lead of one of the most popular Hindi TV shows. The Diya Aur Bati Hum actor, who does not have the time to look up for a suitable match for himself, wants to get married soon.
The actor, who parted ways with girlfriend Rati Pandey recently, said that he is happy to be part of the show and hinted at the show ending in the coming months. He said, "Everything has to end and it’s painful to think about the end of your show, but I have not been told anything about it.Even if our show ends this year, I hope that it goes out with a bang."

The actor also said that his mother wants him to get married now since he is already 38. Also calling marriage a contract, wherein the kundalis of the couple are matched and the groom's finances are looked at, Anas said, "Marriage is a contract, as kundalis are matched, the boy’s finances are looked at, and other things are taken into considerations. So, let’s see who do I end up signing the contract with?"
Anas entered the world of Television in 2006 with a supporting role in Kahiin To Hoga and later went on to sign other TV shows. His first show as a protagonist was Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan in the same year, but Anas grew to fame with Diya Aur Baati Hum.
