Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Prem Kumar Dhumal and Union Health Minister JP Nadda gave valuable tips to strengthen party on the second day of BJP convention here today.

Addressing party workers, Dhumal said that after Narendra Modi government came to power, policies were being framed keeping in mind the geological conditions of different states. As a result, both the Centre and the states were progressing towards overall development.

Exhorting the party workers to gear up for the upcoming Assembly elections, he stated that the Central government had launched welfare schemes for all sections of society and it was the responsibility of party workers to take the message to the masses.

Dhumal said before he was elevated as Prime Minister, Narendra Modi had stated the Himachal Pradesh was his second home and his actions had proved it.

Taking a dig at the state government, he said during the three-year period of the Congress regime development had came to a standstill as the government was only concerned with the politics of vendetta to victimize its opponents.

Union Health Minister JP Nadda said the Modi government was being appreciated worldwide due to good governance and party workers should carry the message to the masses about these works.

BJP’s chief spokesman and Nahan MLA Dr Rajiv Bindal also addressed the convention and stated that proper management was necessary to win the elections.

Various other leaders of the BJP also spoke during the convention.
