Doha-Mubasher: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) saw a bearish performance in Sunday’s early trades, pressured by the negative performance of the blue chips led by Ezdan Holding Group and Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB).
The general index fell 0.42% or 41.49 points to reach 9,750.16 points by 10:00am Qatar time.
Ezdan retreated 1.46%, followed by QIB and Ooredoo slid 1.4% and 0.1%, respectively.
The real estate sector led losers after declining 1.17%, followed by consumer goods and services, and transportation sectors at 0.47% and 0.31%, respectively.
The industrials sector was the best performer with a marginal rise of around 0.03%.
Turnover reached QAR 7 billion after trading 383,070 shares through 242 transactions.
