No darshan in Srirangam temple

There will be no public darshan at the sanction sanctorum of Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple on June 19 and up to 4.30 p.m. on June 20 in view of ‘jeshtabhishekam’. On June 20, ‘Tirupavadai’ festival will be held. In a press release issued here, P. Jayaraman, Joint Commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment, said that ‘jeshtabishekam’ will be performed at Sri Thaayar shrine on June 24 and 25. Hence, the sannadhi will not be open for public darshan on June 24 and up to 4.30 p.m. the next day.
