Village girl writes to CM, gets bus service
Gandhinagar: Avani Patel, a girl from Joshikuva village in Anklav taluka of Anand district, wrote to chief minister Anandiben Patel about how she and 40 other students do not have the facility of an ST bus service to go to school in Anand, which is 25 km away from the village.
To her surprise from June 6, when the school session began, ST bus also started in the village.
This was a pleasant surprise for her and other villagers.
She also wrote a thank you letter to the CM, which the CM then tweeted. Avani's letter read: "We didn't ST bus service so we have to use private vehicles which were not available on time. So I had made a request to you for a bus. To our surprise, we started getting bus service from June 6. When the villagers came to know about my letter to you, they congratulated me. I am thankful to you for helping the students and our village."
