Madison Keys will meet Barbora Strycova in the 2016 Aegon Classic final after both came from a set down to triumph in their last-four matches in Birmingham on Saturday.

American seventh seed Keys pulled off that kind of fightback for the second successive round as she defeated sixth-seeded Spaniard Carla Suarez Navarro 3-6 6-3 7-6 (7/3) - a win which means she will next week break into the world's top 10 for the first time in her career.

Czech Strycova then booked her place in Sunday's final by getting past Keys' compatriot Coco Vandeweghe 2-6 6-4 6-3.

Meanwhile, there were also two three-set semi-finals at the Mallorca Open, with one seeing second seed Jelena Jankovic beaten by Anastasija Sevastova, a player ranked 82nd in the world - 57 places below her opponent.

Serbia's former world number one Jankovic won the first set but was troubled by a leg problem and Latvian Sevastova, who had to spend a night at hospital with a virus after defeating Stefanie Voegele in the first round, bounced back emphatically to emerge with a 4-6 6-1 6-2 victory.

Her opponent in the final will be sixth-seeded Caroline Garcia of France, a 6-4 4-6 6-1 victor against Belgian Kirsten Flipkens.
