India to grow its pulses in Mozambique: Narendra Tomar

Gwalior, MP, Jun 18 (UNI) Placing the Congress in the cross-hairs for not doing enough to increase production of pulses during its regimes, Union Steel and Mines Minister Narendra Singh Tomar today said India will grow its pulses in Mozambique in future to put an end to its shortage.
Mr Tomar made the statement while addressing a gathering at the ground-breaking ceremony of 33/11 KV power sub-station at Bilhati village in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior district.
“The Centre is making all possible efforts to increase the production of pulses and oilseeds so that its prices could be reined in. Since the production of pulses is good in Mozambique, the Centre has entered into an agreement with that country,” he said.
