Have At All Times Fully Complied with Law: Reliance ADAG on 'Essar Tapes'

Anil Ambani-led Reliance ADAG has slammed alleged corporate espionage carried out on the group by the Ruia-owned Essar group. "Shocked at news reports on so-called "Essar Tapes" that refer to completely illegal and criminal tapping of phones. We suspect that the purported conversations must have been doctored to serve heinous interests of those who engaged in alleged illegal phone-tapping operations. We have at all times fully complied with laws, and to suggest otherwise, is criminally defamatory," Reliance ADAG said in a statement released on Saturday.
