Sonam Kapoor wants to do edgy cinema

Sonam Kapoor has always been a part of big-budget and mainstream films like 'Neerja' and 'Raanjhanaa'. But the versatile actress hasn't been seen doing smaller, niche films like 'Masaan' or 'Waiting'.

When asked if she would be open to accepting roles in such films, she said that she would love to experiment with such film, as far as she gets to play an edgy and exciting character.
She believes that directors don't approach her with such films, though she is willing to do them. She wants to do work that will allow her to explore herself.
